Please help with Garmin G1000 Cessna NAV III database update

SOLVED! Please help with Garmin G1000 Cessna NAV III database update

After sucessfully updating the active nav database to Americas 1503, I keep getting this annoying message upon power-up:

"Do you want to update from 1503 to 1501...No will be assumed in xx seconds."

Sys Software ver 563.26
PFD and MFD are version 12.03 each

Where is the system getting 1501 from? The upper MFD SD card is out. I can't remove the lower PFD card or I'll get PFD database reading errors. I have to leave the lower MFD SD card in to keep the Terrain and Flite charts functionality.

Do I need to zeroize the SD cards and reload them from scratch?

SOLVED!

Delete the file "ldr_sys" on all SD cards. Done.

Yay.
 
And, once you have a set of good cards, 2GB or less, only use them in their proper slot. Mixing cards will put the odd files where they do not belong.
