The Tiger as it sits serenely at Platte Valley, CO. Cheapest fuel on the Front Range. Close your eyes and see the SE-5's dogfight the Red Baron.

Where is Carmen Anthony????

And Ed Fred. Match that with your mere mortal aircraft.

"Pleasant dreams my misguided freinds."

Oh yeah! Its nice to be home!

First time I flew in there I was jumped by two SE-5's and a Spad. Fortunately the Tiger is well equipped with Vietnam era weaponry such as Zuni rockets and 20MM canon.

Actually, I turned tail an ran, figured cheap fuel ain't worth it. :D

I love Platte Valley. Eric Jensen had me land there a few years ago and I was hooked.

No. I was just kidding. Found a few old pics and thought I'd have some fun. You guys will know when I come back!

:) phwew! glad to hear that! To add insult to injury, I would not have been able to meet up anyway, as I was up to my ankles in ... uh ... backed up sewer, and NOT a happy camper this weekend.

Oh no Greg! That is awful. I hope it all "worked out".

yeah ... sorta ... I swear, what ever I'm doing wrong, I'm willing to change! Really I am!

Lightning strike last week took out garage door opener, phones and everything connected to my cat 5 ethernet; router, modem, switch, ethernet ports on computers and xbox. Then backed up sewer, ruined carpet and stinky house. Fortunately, got the carpet and pad out and house smells ok now.

Sadly, I knew it was time to snake the lines and I put it off until a "free weekend"... I have to snake the line twice a year, because I have roots invade my line aggressively. Plumber told me my options were:

1. dig up and replace clay lines with new plastic lines
2. line it with a liner - some kind of expanding catheter-like rubberish line they pull thru the existing line and expand in place. Saves digging but not cheaper.
3. rooter out the lines twice a year to cut the roots out.

I guess since I chose option 3, I need to make sure the calendar's marked in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS...

oh yeah, to top it all off, flat tire while heading to the rental yard for the snake ...

Oy Vey!

Maybe burn some incense or do an Indian dance or something. At least the incense will help the carpet smell.

Really, that sucks.
