Planning my longest XC yet

Kent I left the OX at RC Avionics, Hope you were able to get it if not leave a message so I can go back and pick it up.

Grrrrrrrr.

Packed the plane, filed, preflighted, and... Cancelled. For tonight, that is.

Weather was spotty... OK, I'll work around that. But the GPS database was out of date and the ELT antenna was broken, both of which had been squawked over a week ago when I got back from OSH. :mad:

So, the plane's getting a new database in the morning, followed by a new ELT antenna, and THEN I will leave.

Gonna be a long day. :eek:
 
Kent -- If you're serious about Gravelly Valley here's some info.

If the wind happens to blow you south to Petaluma. I'll buy your lunch.

Edit: I see you're going to visit Will. Well, o69 is on the way...Actually, Will keeps saying he means to make it Petaluma. Maybe he should come up as well!

Jay,

Sorry I missed you - As it turned out, I didn't launch from MSN until 3 PM, so didn't have much sunlight to play with, and the late start also would have prevented me from buying fuel at the cheap place down your way too, so I ended up going to Todd Field in Long Prairie.

At least you're close enough that when we get off our collective butts and have another midwest gathering, I will still get to meet you in person! :yes:
