Plane crashes twice in one day

Not enough right rudder on that second takeoff lol.
 
One forced landing.
One takeoff crash.

By my count the plane crashed just once.


Lesson: avoid takeoff through beach surf.
 
a little misleading. They landed on the beach, that was No. 1, they fixed the plane and attempted to takeoff. The video show the same takeoff twice making it look like they tried again after the first crash in the surf. It only happened once.
 
Well, now they'll have to take it apart and truck it out of there. That will NOT buff right out.
 
I've done soft field departure, short field departure, etc. Never a soft/water departure in a plane. Did a few in a helo but it didn't know what was under it. Geesh.

I did not see much up elevator, but plenty of right rudder too late.
 
By the title I thought somebody had posted a video of one of my landings from the other day.
 
Not a good decision to attempt a takeoff by the pilot (obviously). Probably an impulsive decision mixed in with a little "get home itis" after spending all day changing out an engine on the beach.

The tide would have eventually gone back down leaving some nice compact sand to takeoff on.
