Hi all. Back from vacation in NH but that is another thread. Lady Luscombe's engine (A-65 with 25 hour new Millenium cylinders) started making loud clanging noise upon power reduction in the pattern. Something broke. Some oil beneath the crankcase breather after shutdown. Pulled the prop through, no obvious loss of compression.

Called the FBO's mechanic and he seems to prefer to work on turbine aircraft.

Does anyone have a referral to a PSF based GA mechanic who could help?

Thanks in advance.

Ask the mechanics at Great Barrington to drive over. They are only a few miles down the road. They fly cubs, so certainly can work on your engine.
