For those of you who use pilotworkshops, what IFR course would you recommend for a newly minted IFR pilot? I’ve signed up for the IFR mastery workshop, but I was also looking at some of their other courses.

Suggestions and thoughts are welcome (doesn’t hurt that I have a gift certificate for their courses as well).

In addition to PilotWorkshops, take a look at FlightInsights YT channel

Thanks for the feedback. I bought the real world IFR and now I have checked out some of those flightinsight videos- very cool!

This is an old thread, but I just wanted write up a PIREP to encourage instrument students, instrument pilots and CFIIs to check out Pilot Workshops' materials. The manuals have much better explanations and illustrations of IFR related topics than FAA source material and many other books on the market. The online courses are outstanding too.

I'm not affiliated with Pilot Workshops and stand nothing to gain. I'm just impressed with their content and would encourage anyone wanting to improve their IFR knowledge to check it out. I think the manuals are "must haves" for CFII library.

I just finished the "IFR Approach and Departure Gotchas" course and learned plenty and refreshed my memory on things I have forgotten.

I found the IFR communications manual very useful.

Yup, I've got a few of their courses/programs. Have been impressed with all of them.

YES. I started with one course and have now purchased and completed almost all of their IFR training courses and materials. I fly IFR a lot and find myself using their training materials on a regular basis to refresh memory gaps etc. Well written and clear with excellent materials and interface.
