Pilot's Bill of Rights Change

Interesting. It looks like I'd still need a 3rd class to fly to Toronto then?

outside the United States, unless authorized by the country in which the flight is conducted;

Unless Canada adopts the same common sense rules...:rolleyes:

Full text of the Bill is here.

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall issue or revise medical certification regulations to ensure that an individual may operate as pilot in command of a covered aircraft without regard to any medical certification or proof of health requirement otherwise applicable under Federal law

So when the language says "individual" instead of the word "pilot" in the Pilots Bills of Rights 2, I am assuming that student pilots going for the PPL are covered, right?

Student Pilots are Pilots

Does a SPecial issuance count as a previous denial? (In terms of sport pilot)

The consensus among knowledgeable people here on the forum is that a special issuance does not count as a denial.
