I awoke this morning to find the glass face on my Galaxy Note scratched. Is there a semi-easy way to repair this?

I've googled this and came up with dozens of possibilities, but none that I want to partake in. I certainly don't want to take the phone apart. I'm not thrilled about using wet/dry sandpaper and jewelers polish, but would do it as a last resort. I've read that the lens scratch repair kits don't work. So I'm hoping someone here has a simple solution that I haven't run across.

Toothpaste? That works on some soft plastics and glass. I've used it to take "skips" out of CD's.

How badly is it scratched?

There are companies that fix those sorts of things... I can give you a number to call in Queens, if you like.

It's deep enough that I can feel it with my fingernail.
And please, shoot me the number in Queens if you would.

Thanks!

My iPhone has cracked glass in the bottom right corner. It's a tool. If I can still read it and it works, I don't care much about scratches.

My first iPhone lived in an Otterbox like it was going deep sea diving every day or something. I got over it.

Neither the iPhone nor iPad 3 even have scratch coatings on them this time around. No cases other than the sleeve built into the laptop bag or stuffed in the brightline for the ipad.

They'll be well-used when it comes time to replace them.
