Phillies Win!!!

Anything to boost your post count? :D

Glad to see Moyer finally get a WS ring. Nice job.

OK, smart guys, nice job raining on our parade. I'm guessing one of our mod's is not sympathetic to the long-suffering Philadelphia fans.

It took less time to combine my Phillies posts from other forums into this one than it does to suspend Reverend Slappy. I suspect a Devil Rays fan.

Slappy got suspended? Must have been something in SZ, where I don't go. Oh well...

PHILS PHAN AND MC MEMBER WHOOO HOOO

ADAM ZUCKER:D:D:D:D

Andrew if they ain't from here they can't conceivably know what this means to us!!! So don't hold it against them.

Oh My lord we just won the world series.

One of our preachers is a big Phillies fan. He should be happy. Then they say it has been sooooooooo long since Philly won the series.
It is great to be a Cubs fan!:mad3:

Congratulations. Just how think how good it might have been if anybody more than 50 miles away had been watching. Was this event the sports equivalent of a tree falling in a forest?

Very true! They were indeed the team of change and hope. After all, their motto is "Ya gotta believe"!!

:yesnod::cheers:

Heres the thing Wayne for those in Philly it really doesn't matter because

we were in the forest when the tree fell.

Bahhh Humbug! :P

Aren't the Phillies just another "Yankees" team? :)

You are just jealous!! The Phils ain't the Yankees, unlike those indistinguishable "southern" teams! :D Any Texas teams actually WIN the world series in modern history?

But I won't hold you personably responsible!

Gary

YeeeeeeeHaaaaaa!!

Tree fallin? Don't matter. We won the WORLD SERIES!!! Without Tug and Lefty and Booney and the Baker. A whole new bunch of heroes!!!!!

Beagles, Flyers and Sixers, yet to report in. Could we see a rewriting of 1980?????????

I think a little bit of Tug was on the mound :yesnod:

So my awesome 12 yo daughter tells me this " Dad whats the difference between a Phillies Hot Dog and a Met's Hot Dog? ............. You can buy a Phillies Hot Dog in October. Man I gave her such big HUG!!!!

In fact his illegitimate son, Tim, did spread his ashes before game 3, so the spirit of the Tugger was there. I lifeguarded for Tug's legit kids for several years, and let's just say, that guy must've had the rovin' eye, because his one (legal) wife was pretty hot.

> Aren't the Phillies just another "Yankees" team?

Not possible. Proof? This Red Sox fan was rooting for the Phillies. QED

Phils win! Phils win! w00t!!! Finally, the Billy Penn curse is lifted!

I know the feeling. I was at the 7th game (and in the owner's suite for the party) when KC had their 15 minutes of fame in the 80's. A win is a win. Glad you can hoot.

> Aren't the Phillies just another "Yankees" team?...

You need to learn a bit more about the city of brotherly love. Cause Philly LOVEs to hate anything to do with NY. We are actually the anit NY. of course in football that extends to Dallas as well.:D
