Passed the checkride!

Well I did it. Weather cooperated, winds were calm, examiner was very mellow and comforting. The oral portion was definitely a lot shorter than I was expecting. I answered everything rather quickly and accurately, so I guess he didn't feel the need to drill into any topics with an electron microscope. Flight went damn near perfect, one of my best flights ever. The examiner even commented after he didn't really have much to critique. That made me feel really good.

I am going to decompress, take a nap, have a beer, and I will do a writeup about it later. Just glad to be part of the crowd now!
