I do a lot of traveling via commercial carriers for work (primarily Delta), usually between CVG and MDT. At the beginning of the year, Delta stopped operating the direct CVG to MDT route, which has increased by total travel time from 4 hours to ~8hrs.

I have a one-day meeting scheduled next week in the Harrisburg, PA area and have zero desire to battle the masses on Delta, Airtran or USair. Does anyone know of a 135 operator in/around cincinnati that is operating a turbine single or piston twin that I could check in with? I definitely do not have jet budget for this flight.

thanks for any suggestions!

You could see if there's any charters that fit your need at Lunken (KLUK), but beyond that I can't provide any more help. Someone else on here can probably provide more information.

A charter out of LUK would be ideal, but most of the one's I'm seeing are CIV's and Falcons. I don't need that much hardware.

There used to be a charter company out of Blue Ash that flew Cirrus aircraft for 250/hr, Duncan would know where they ended up when Blue Ash closed.

You'll struggle to find 135 single engine. Even in a Navajo, or small turbo prop twin, the costs are going to be prohibitive. Based on previous experience, $2K - $3K. My company bought a Citation a few years back. It is cheaper than 135 or fractional 91.

Good Luck.

CVG - MDT showing 3 hrs 15 min, 1 stop, one way. Not ideal, but not bad either. Unless you are billing it back, I don't know how a company would justify.

Contact Duncan (skylane81e) on here. They have a Navajo.
