Here's a lazy person's parking job! :rofl: Seriously, I'd look around to see if anyone had noticed and pull out and try again... not just leave it! :eek: Parking FAIL!!

nah, that's not a fail...just a job left half-done.
 
Sheesh. There's almost a car length of empty space in front of it. No excuses. 709 ride with a grumpy DE is in order.

I find it amusing how a major percentage of drivers get nervous and sloppy then give up when trying to fit their vehicles into holes that are double or more their size because it won't fit. :loco:

Maybe. Was this picture taken immediately after the parking job, or was there perhaps a different car in front when they parked, and it was a lot closer? Of course, were that the case, the parker should probably have chosen another spot, but it wouldn't be quite as egregious as this photo would make it seem. Remember, a photo is just a "snapshot" in time. :)

I taught Drivers Education for 25 years and when I got finished with a student they knew how to park right.:D

Yea, I know that. I've also traveled a lot recently and some of the stuff I've seen. Just :crazy:

Never underestimate severe lack of ability.
One day last summer I watched a little generic 4 door car make several attempts at getting into a parallel parking space at a national park. He blocked the road for way too long with his maneuvering then finally got flustered with me sitting there about 50 feet back well out of the way because I wouldn't get tangled up with what he was doing considering he almost hit two other people who drove past. He finally gave up, flipped me off and drove up the road somewhere. I rolled forward a bit, put it in reverse, tossed the steering wheel one way then another..and pushed my trailer and my entire motorhome (41 feet long total) into the space he couldn't get his dinky little 15-16 foot long car with wrap around windows into. Granted I'm very proficient driving the motorhome but his lack of ability was a bit extreme. I walked up the path a ways only to find his car parked a bit like the one in that picture only nose in with the butt sticking out in traffic. :sosp:

Actually, the Smart car was designed to do just that! The point is that you are supposed to be able to get 2 of them parked that way in each normal car spot.
