What the F?

I mean, where's the F?

Story.

Is it just me, or does that picture look edited?

Kind of what I was thinking. Looks like it might’ve been manipulated.

Makes you wonder how someone could’ve screwed up so badly without anyone catching it.

Hmm, why is a thee pronged outlet to the right of the baggage door. So the ground crew can shave maybe?

Did you notice that the nose gear door says "NO"?

Just another cost cutting measure in the brutally competitive airline business.

Or they hired a feng shui expert, and found out the "F" didn't help the Flow of Favorable energy?

I'm guess somebody didn't measure correctly when they started, and had to make a command decision once they got close to the door.

Yeah sure, I truly believe in same and everyone should also obey the traffic rules.

My experience with paint shops [numbering all of one instance] was as bad; we chose a paint scheme for the airplane, got the quote, and when it was done it was in an entirely different scheme. No real explanation. We took it as-is (the job was actually quite good) because the hassle of suing them and waiting forever for a resolution wasn't worth it.

Fellow who painted my Cheetah years ago told me of a family member of his, also an airplane painter. He had done a 400-series twin Cessna, and on one side transposed two of the digits of the registration. He said it flew around that way for six months before anybody noticed.

^why is "mistake" in quotes?

Wow.... got 10 letters upside down...:lol:

At the airport here there used to be the name and Unicom frequency painted on the taxi way. Several years ago when an airline wanted to start coming here the FAA told the airport to remove the name and frequency. I did not hear a reason for it.

Beat me to it!

Gotta confess, you made me look it up. And you are absolutely correct. It's left pattern for 18 and right pattern for 36, which means the unicom frequency is also upside-down.
