PA-12

Does the PA-12 have a baggage are or anything behind the rear seat. Looking for enough room for some beach towels, a small bag for a change of clothes, and maybe a small cooler. Thinking it could be a great plane for short trips for my little fam.

Never have flown either. Have flown a few J-3s. I don't know what the CG range is on a PA-12, but my suggestion is to make sure you know what it is and don't let it go too far aft. The J-3 is a wonderful airplane, but doesn't fly nice tail heavy.
