Just paid for my 7th annual on the Arrow. Less than 2AMUs with one spark plug and a nose gear rebuild kit (thing lasted like 15 years). I'm happy. It has been affordable all things considered. Def not my forever airplane and I wish I could install a 540 on it, but its mx has been palatable to me.
Depending on how the economy tanks I may snag a Lance or commander 114 for a decade or so if the price is right. Otherwise I'll keep this trucking with this sucker for the duration and move to an RV trike when the military flying comes to an end. No avionic upgrades for me though. Not my cup of tea, at least not in certified land. If I had EAB mx and pricing structure allowances, that behavior would be completely different. To each their own.
