Owner of 2 rental planes that crashed...

Read that article, you'd think the planes just crash themselves...
 
Kind of paints the rental owner as renting shabby aircraft, but with few facts to support.
 
Typical person with no public information experiance. He should of said his planes are maintained in an airworthy condition by FAA certified mechanics. There were no maintenance issues with the prior to takeoff.

I think you missed the cross-reference. Theodore Wright is the dude who is currently being charged with multiple accounts of insurance fraud for destroying multiple airplanes, cars and boats.

That dude might be going away for a long time. I bet he thought he was pretty smart... too smart to get caught. Wrong!
 
Call me not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I thought the idea behind insurance fraud was to make a claim and get paid for damage that wasn't there.

Or, intentionally damaging/destroying for the payout.

Kind of like how you can't wreck the truck to get the money to make the payment on the truck.
