Take a look in the lower left of my EHSI. it shows the winds we saw this morning at 37,000' over Tennessee. 149kts is a heck of a lot that far south. We southeasters are in for some cold weather me thinks.

We had temps of -15 in Nebraska heading your way. That is on the ground, and not windchill.
 
pretty nice jet-streak. Its all on the lifting out side of the trough, and that trough is heavily positively tilted, so fairly innocuous, compared to a strongly negatively tilted trough, those are usually far nastier.

150kt max over TX.

U-shaped jets like that make for interesting weather. Like load of ICE in Texas.
