Operation Air drop Hurricane Relief

Let me repeat what I mentioned in another thread. They need insect repellent badly on the coast. The mosquitos are huge, aggressive, and there must be billions of them. It's worse than the Alaska tundra!

It's times like this that I really wish I had the time and means to just take off and be useful.

I got about 4,500 diapers, 8 cases of wipes, 1800 tampons, 27 sleeping bags, and enough formula to feed an army of babies for a week into the plane. I had it a little more than 1200 lbs, and the W&B was an interesting exercise. It was a long day, but obviously nothing like what that city is enduring and I was glad to be a small bit of help.

Would like to help, but I would be coming all the way from Illinois. Where would be the best place to stage at a hotel to help for a few days?

Suggest you post this question on their Facebook page. I would guess Georgetown because that is where a lot of the supplies are getting picked up.

Thank you for helping.
