Intoxicated and pregnant, a La Crosse woman is accused of trying to hold up a Taco John’s with a hammer.

Police say the 38-year-old woman told the cashier Tuesday night — "I want a soft shell and this is a stickup. Give me all your money."

Sorry to say, but after 24 years in EMS and law enforcement, that lady's not even in the top 20 of stupidest and craziest things I've seen people do.

The last line was the icing on the cake, though.

Whatever he is (and I'm not entirely sure), he's willing to try to protect his sister. And I think if he he sees that intruder again, he'll give him the slapping of a lifetime. Mad props.

Those projects must be made from exactly the same HUD blueprints as the ones I worked in Florida. Even the pipes on the outside walls are in exactly the same place.
To this day I can take a piece of paper and draw an exact floorplan of one entire building of units, both upstairs and downstairs.

As an aside, I still remember the address and phone number of every Motel 6 in a town I left 14 years ago (from writing them on so many offense reports), and if you give me a room number I can tell you which floor its on, what side of the building it's on, whether the door opens left or right, and which side of the front window the door's on.
So consider than when you're making you roadtrip stop and are considering the cheapest room in the area.
