Want To Buy Old Prop / Aircraft Part / Retirement Gift

Hi - I'm looking for something we can use as a retirement gift for our long time pilot. Ideally, looking for something a group can sign with well wishes...thinking of an old prop, aircraft skin, something along those lines.

Lots of used wood props cheap on ebay, too, especially ultralight props which are smaller and might be more manageable.

Contact a nearby aircraft salvage yard for possibilities. If close by might be able to take it off their hands for nothing if explain the reason.

Something less unwieldly might be an altimeter or airspeed indicator. They're plentiful and folks can sign the outer casing with a silver sharpie pen. I've seen them placed on interesting stands or plinths for a desk accessory.
