Yep, and IIRC he said the straight weights were all pretty much the same and safe to use. It was the Exxon Elite (during the development of that oil he came up with the additive package which is basically Cam Lube, only Exxon decided that it was too costly so they copied Aeroshell 20-50) and Aeroshell 20-50 which were specified to avoid due to the synthetic base stock not being compatible with Avgas.

Not surprised, when I've seen them make steel, I haven't not seen cam damage on a Lycoming, but my sample is small but includes 2 of my own.
