I use Blackstone. Have any of you sent oil samples into multiple companies then compare them? I look at it like a second opinion

Oil tests are for trend analysis. Can’t guarantee different companies will generate the same results. Different equipment, tests , evaluations.

I once compared test results from Avlab and ALS Tribology, and they agreed well. By that I mean that values that were low were low from both sources. One may have been 2 ppm and the other 4 ppm for a factor of 2 difference, but in that range the two readings were equivalently good. The only slightly high reading (lead) was similarly slightly high in both tests.
