Oil darkens quickly

The only pilot control I have that impacts oil color is the mixture knob, but even that makes only marginal changes. Oil discoloration happens at different rates in different engines. If it’s airworthy? I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Yeah, but the root cause is the ignition switch :p
