Ha - got far more than we did, too. If you believed the forecasts, we were supposed to get 20"+ (and that was using the forecast minimums). We got .5-1".

I just took Rachel to work - apparently the ACE Hardware in Boone is more 'necessary' than city/county government offices. *sigh* Roads were mostly clear, but the visibility was almost negative at some points. "Firefighters in Boise, Idaho, rescued a boy Tuesday whose tongue was stuck to a metal fence pole. A woman driving by saw the boy standing next to the fence, figured out what was happening and called 911. Firefighters dumped a glass of warm water on the pole and freed him. The boy, who was about 10, bled a little, but was OK and firefighters let him continue his walk to school. "
