Oh, Spirit Airlines

Free inflight entertainment. Surprised Spirit didn't try to charge people for it after.

"Mutual Combat Situation"

I'll give some points for creative phrasing.

I feel like I'm seeing a lot more of people listening without headphones to their iPhones, iPads, or whatever else in public places. Just a general lack of any kind of regard to the people around them.

Bigger problem is we are becoming a ghetto country.

For all the no frills and you must pay extra for the littlest courtesy, is Spirit actually profitable?

I would need to know what tunes they were blasting to know who's side I'm on in this scenario.

Somebody has to make United look good...

Airlines are commodities these days. Brand differentiation is fairly immaterial, especially in the domestic feed, particularly when regional feed sub-contracting is involved.

But.... Don't count out the non lagacy majors... Jet Blue, Frontier, Spirit... (Southwest not really in same category).

Anyway, some of those are good places to work. And as has been stated, we only work forward of the cockpit door.

Jordan, I have loved your career path... Until this.

Are you counting on a Delta slot?? Hope not.
You should never burn bridges like that in an ion forum. You never know what recruiters are reading this.... Just Sayin'

Spirit and Allegiant are two of the most profitable carriers on the planet. People love to hate their business model, but management is laughing all the way to the bank.

Noted and deleated!

I've flow Spirit from ACY to PBI. I can't imagine sitting in those seats all the way from BWI to LAX. And where were the Flight Attendants during this fiasco?

I thought I saw at least one FA guarding the cockpit, which is likely proper protocal. It's not the FA's job to break up a fight. It is their job to protect the flight. Exactly how you interpret that is up to you.
