Wondering what the FAA policy is on Brimonidine maleate and Dorzolamide HCI/Timolol maleate when going for medical class certification. Do not have Galcoma, but for use to maintain pressure in one eye with hx of retinal issues. 1 drop in morning and evening of each have been on them for years.

I think it is going to depend on the diagnosis of what your retinal issue is.

Iirc brimonidine is OK And Dorzolamide as well. But FAA will want Form 8700-14 fully filled out an a set of current. Humphrey 24-2 visual fields…..

Meds not a problem, but need proof there is no optic nerve damage(ie only ocular hypertension and not glaucoma) and what are the extent of the retinal issues, future prognosis as well.
