It will be the best money spent. There are guys on there that will tell him of a great twin cessna shop that will be able to handle the pre-purchase. There are people on their that can help mentor him/meet insurance requirements etc. He can post what plane he is interested in and someone may have knowledge of that specific plane, etc. Great resource.

My folks live in Hickory Creek, and I sometimes land on the little strip near the lake. Been meaning to get up to your hood for a while - looks like a good little flying club you got going.

And we have have a share for sale (member owned). Interested pilots can reach out to me for the selling member's information.@AggieMike88 Is apparently also well-known and well liked.
But keep in mind a new criteria recently went into effect. Our insurance requires that a member have at least 200 hrs PIC to join and operate the Skylane and at least 300hrs PIC to operate the Bonanza. Individual exceptions can be considered by our broker/underwriter on a case by case basis.

...sigh. I've got the time. But don't spend enough time there to warrant getting in the club. I live in Maine, and keep my C172 flying most of the time with students. My company's in Canton, which brings me to Tejas sometimes.
