Weather is pretty bad in the Atlanta area today...right at or below mins. for most non-precision approaches.
Just heard this on my scanner...the aircraft was talking to Atlanta Approach. "Atlanta I don't think I'm gonna be able to get into XYZ . I'm gonna do a youee and return to Griffen."
Couldn't find that one in the AIM:p
 
ATC: "Cessna 123, traffic seven o'clock, three miles, same direction, a Baron, sixty knots faster; he'll be doing a 'Linda Ronstadt.'"

123: "A what?"

ATC: "'Blue Bayou.'"

We had someone cross diagonally over midfield and announce they were going to do a "curleycue thingie" to a long final.
