Oh, I do that to myself all the time! I send an email to myself from my work address to my home address to remind me of something I remembered to do at work that can only be done once I get home but which I know I'll forget about again by the time I get home!

When the DOD first went computer I was given a log in code to enter the system.

When I tried to log in I got a message that said I had to log in, to log in.

Frustrated as it gets I called the IT folks, they searched what ever, and said I was already logged in.
