Since discovering PoA (I'm fairly new here!), I now have it bookmarked on my desktop for easy access. I know that many others have probably done the same thing! But.... how many people here will admit to frequenting OTHER web forums or message boards that are non-aviation related?? :hairraise: I know it may be shocking that we all "might" possibly have other interests besides burning AV gas, but I'm just curious. I'm in a scrapbook club and luv to do weekend quilting classes and I also follow a sportbike motorcycle forum because I'm a rider wannabe. No bike yet, but maybe someday. I really don't get it, but the husband frequently rolls his eyes at this possibility. :dunno:

Bookmarked!? POA is the HOMEPAGE!!

yes many other chats/forums, aviation and non aviation. Some only visited during times of 'need'.

There are a couple of Jeep sites I visit now and then. Not as often as in years past. Facebook for keeping up with friends and high school classmates (our 40th reunion is a week from now). AOPA (oops, that's aviation :D )

LOLOL... well, my scrapbook club's forum is still my homepage and always will be. My very best non-local friends that I don't see IRL as often as I would like check onto that site daily. :D And I did forget about Facebook! I'm not all that into that, but it's amazing to me how many people are! Some of my above-mentioned scrapbook friends are so into the games there... I think it is Farm Town and some other restaurant game Cafe World?? I've looked at those and really don't get the point, but they love playing them. The internet has something for everyone! :cheerswine:

A few Jeep forums, a couple of kayak fishing forums, and PoA...

And a random car-tech forum when I need help.

Mainly Aviation, but I do hang out on some BMW motorcycle boards.

A Kawasaki Vulcan forum as well as other interests (gun refinishing and hunting for starters).

Airplanes.

Airplanes.

Airplanes.

Flying Weather.

Did I mention, "Airplanes"?

And, a little bit of construction-related law.

Was thinking of starting a new board, something like, "CuteGirlPilotToes.com" but that's sorta niche.

I used to spend alot of time at overclock.net, but due to lack of time I'm spending less time on the internet as a whole...I usually end up spending most of my time at the Purple Board though.

Too many to name 'em all.... Among the most commonly visited non-aviation boards would be the Smith-Wesson forum, Iowa Carry forum, Jaguar forum, and the Banjo Hangout.

Interesting. You make three of us on PoA who are also on BHO.

I am a clawhammer player. Current 'axe' is a Bart Reiter Galax.

And I see also a few motorcycle, guns, cars, and sports websites among us, it would seem. But no other scrapbookers.... Hmmm.... well, I guess that is what I get for going against the current on an aviation forum!

Prior to being into flying I spent a lot of time on a Jaguar board (I've owned 7 of them and used to be a Jaguar mechanic). I go to the Ford truck forum and the Mitsubishi 3000GT forum when I need help with one of those. Otherwise, the reason I stay here is the people.

I love gardening. Working in the yard and flowers. But till I learned to fly, I really didn`t know the meaning of passion. So, even though I love gardening, my passion is FLYING, and that is the only forums I visit.

If you ever want to bounce Mitsu stuff off of someone, let me know. I was a tech training instructor and certfied Mitsu master tech for over a decade.

I've got a Reiter Standard fretless as well as a 1930's Vega with a Wyatt Fawley flush-fret neck, but the one that gets played most is my Jay Moscella tackhead minstrel.

Very cool!! I have been wanting to pick up a fretless. But then I remember I only have two hands and not enough time to play the one I have. I am not familiar with the Jay Moscella one that you have. I would be interested in hearing more about it.

Excellent, I will be sure to remember. Right now my VR4 is in a billion pieces while I work on the front mount intercooler install and exhaust upgrade. I know, I'm an idiot for doing something like that.

The most amazing thing about this car is that everything is attached with more bolts than I'm used to seeing on any other car. I'm convinced that the zip ties are attached with 3 bolts. Love driving the thing for sure, but not looking forward to changing out the transmission when 3rd gear decides it's had enough. :)
