The local paper put the story on page 3. I think this was about right (page 4 might have been better). Where did your paper put it? -- Mike in Tallahassee

The Orlando Sentinel devoted nearly half of page 3, including one huge picture of the Cessna on the runway and a somewhat smaller picture of a security guard shooing people away.

Trenton Times - page 1 - big picture on the fold, article just below the fold.

it is near the top of the online site, didn't get to see the paper yet this morning b/c I went flying (WHEE!) and left around 6 AM and didn't grab it. I am guessing above the fold though.

we flew to FDK and back - a ghost town at 730 AM. fun to call your coworkers on your way in to work to give them the traffic report though!

Harrisonburg, VA paper this morning had it on the 3rd page of the second section of the paper - 11 I think it was. Haven't seen the Sun. I don't subscribe...

not only was it above the fold in the Washington Post, it was nearly the entire top half of the newspaper. sigh

Your Airport Parking Lot?

I can't tell you how the local newspaper rated it because I haven't had time to walk out to the end of the driveway. I can tell you that the TV news folks were still camped at Smoketown this evening at 5:30 PM. Pictures of the circus attached.

Someone should dare to tell them they're violating security protocols. And that they have to leave.

The cops did that to one of the TV crews down here when Customs & Border Patrol forced a plane w/2 illegals on board down at Stinson.

That's a good one. We should remember that. It might make at least one crew tell the boss that the usual sweeps week "Terror in your backyard!" "I walked RIGHT UP AN AIRPLANE!" story isn't going to work. :D
