While I have not been a big fan of this app so far, I have to say that v 1.3 has introduced some nice features like the airspace alerting and finally TAWS/Obstacles.
Not noted on the release information but there appears to be an XPlane button under the setup menu but have not played with that yet.
What's New in Version 1.3.0
Improvements in this release include:
2D graphical airspace and warnings – Now you can see airspaces in 2D and get alerts before you enter them. Especially important for restricted and prohibited airspaces.
ADS-B Traffic with 3D Audio Alerting – Display Traffic on the map and get “location-centric” 3D audio alerts. “Traffic 4-o’clock high” sounds as if it’s coming from over your right shoulder. Traffic source is the Sagetech and Dual ADS-B receivers.
TAWS with Obstacles – Color-coded Terrain Awareness Warning with obstacles and audio alerting.
In-flight Automatic route planning (Auto Route) – Now you can use the Smart Routing function while airborne. Tap-Tap-Go while you’re in-flight.
Support for Sagetech Clarity Receiver – ADS-B Traffic, ADS-B Weather, WAAS GPS, and AHRS
NOTE: Audio alerting is via Bluetooth from the iPad through any Bluetooth-audio-enabled headset, the KMA 30 or other Bluetooth audio-enabled audio panels.
