I don’t think I recall too many from Cheyenne, but you’re close to several Denver members. Cheyenne’s airport is in a nice spot, but doesn’t seem to have a ton of activity other than the military ops.
The Wyoming Pilots Association folded a few years ago, lack of interest. Best bet is to find the local EAA chapters.

Thanks for your help guys, my wife and I came from central Cali, KPTV.
I retired early from a school district maint Dept and got a got up in Cheyenne doing the same thing.
I am ifr rated and so close to finishing the commercial, I had to put that on hold until we moved, I just need to take the written and polish up for the check ride.
There is a 141/61 school up here that also rents the planes, as I do not own one.
