New Nexus 7 details are out

Not quite -- these are only partial specs.

The actual Google Nexus 7, version 2.0 announcement -- with actual, detailed specs -- starts in ten minutes.

tick tock......:goofy:

I wonder if the Nexus 10 will also be updated? My Dad is interested in a tablet, and the larger screen would be nice for those older eyes.

Thinner, lighter, more powerful, 323 pixel per inch screen beats iPad retina (at 264ppi), LTE 4G available, front/rear cameras, better battery life, and more. Slightly more $$$.
'Sure to become a pilot favorite.

Anyone know the nits brightness level? I thought the original nexus has around 300 or 350. My Asus TF700 infinity has 600 nits brightness and is sunlight readable.

I have a Nexus 7 and the TF 700. The TF 700 does better in sunlight. I believe the single most relevant spec for sunlight readability is nits rating.

I use the Nexus 10. It has had better resolution right from the git-go, and it has always had a barometer.

Rumor has a new model change for it as well.
