Hi all,
David here, from Lockhart, Texas (50R), south of Austin. A&P/IA, 20 years in the shop, currently running Altman Aviation and doing mobile work out of the 50R pattern.
I'm here mostly to keep up with what people are doing about maintenance records and AD tracking, and to answer what I can on the shop side. I build an aircraft maintenance records app (Volamus), so I'll always say so when it's relevant — I'd rather be upfront than have someone find out later.

Welcome! We have a couple solid A&Ps that are active and help us dumb pilot owners understand the mysteries of FAA alteration and repair rules. But more is better. The amount of electrons expended on the difference between PMA, TSO, and STC would power a small town.
