Meh, I never put too much emphasis on ‘leaked’ Apple product news like that. It’s rarely ever right, and it’s mostly always fictitious.
 
There is no reason it shouldn't be a single screen that folds.

Not just Apple. Defensive patent strategies run rampant in the tech industry. Just about all of the big ones offer bonuses to employees that file patents.
