New Federal Air Surgeon plans to reduce AMCD processing times...

I'll believe it when I see it. In my mind 60 days is far too long anyway...
 
Allowing an upload of documents alone will save weeks. Their mail/fax system is antiquated and terrible.
 
I will say that the use of electronic means of transmission for the Washington, DC cases has really sped up the ball. I used to have cases in which I'd get a call saying would you have the airman get another neuropsych eval ($$$$s) as the one you submitted 20 months ago is too old. Well who's fault is that? Well, it becomes OUR problem....

Now this HAS to metastasize to OKC....fax is just too burdensome. FedX no longer works. USPO hasn't worked for some time.
