I actually have my airplane over it Southbridge now 3B0. What time are you guys arriving at Barnes? I think I'll make the 12-minute journey over to join you.
 
I'd be coming about five mins from over at 7B2 but sadly I can't make it

Make Tucson your first refueling stop and we'll fly formation all the way there. We can moon each other* from time to time to break the monotony.

Yes, a (semi) Cajun restaurant named Belle's. (The scene of Eamon Mackenzie's Jerk Chicken Incident, for those with long memories....) It hasn't been there for a long time. And Eamon got hired to fly commercially and has not been around much at all the last few years....The replacement for Belle's - now also gone apparently, was also in the terminal building at FOK. The new place - The Apron Cafe - is not located in the terminal building, but instead is on Cook Road, a very short distance away.

This information comes from Google Maps, I haven't been there in a while. I hope the info is wrong. Runway side picnic tables were a fun place to eat your breakfast/lunch.

Have never seen a full length take off for GA aircraft. More than enough runway .

Wasn't sure where TurboEddie was coming from, so I stuck him at KBAF.

Maroon planes = Cessnas, Blue = Pipers, Black = Unknown... Azure is in her car up in VT :)

Right now, looks like we have about 14 or so people coming... not bad.
 
That map is pretty cool...not bad at all for the 1st one in these parts!

Really looking forward to Sunday. It will be good to put some faces with names of some of my "internet friends" as my wife teases me about...hehe
 
Depending how I feel tomorrow, I may or may not make a surprise appearance on Sunday.

Where is the restaurant located? It wouldn't called "The Runway at Barnes" would it? According to Google, it's permanently clossed.

There is a new one that's been there for a year or so- http://pappsbarandgrill.com/

It is right in the main terminal building. Just tell ground you are going to the restaurant and they will direct you to parking.

The main terminal is at 100 Airport Rd, Westfield, MA 01085. Although it looks like a big airport, in reality the main GA terminal area and parking is quite small.
