Greetings, from KGKY (Arlington, TX).
I am in need of someone to help me complete my Private, and figured I'd ask on this forum. This is my first post. Here are some of my unique particulars:
* Have a great CFI who I have been training with! However, he works at a flight school that has become very busy. The owner of the school has all but turned over all operations to my CFI. Getting booked with him for flight time is very tough to do these days. Sometimes 10-days to two weeks out.
* Have another CFI buddy I've known for over 30-years. He offered to help, when he was doing contract flying in Falcon Jets, etc. He got slow with that self-employed job, and now took a full-time gig. So his time is now extremely limited.
* As unique as it may sound, I own my own aircraft. I have a very clean, low-time Cessna 172 M, based at GKY.
* I am at about 90-hours, total time. From reading the regs, I need (at a minimum):
I am seeking a CFI who I can pay to help me complete this endeavor. Someone who could meet me in Arlington, schedule large blocks of time over however many days, and help me reach my goal of being ready for the check ride.
Do any of you know of someone who may have the time, and may wish to be hired to help me out?
I thank you for your time and/or suggestions!
* If you know of someone, please ask them to email me. I will check back in on this thread daily, but I get email instantly, wherever I may be.

- Two more hours of night
- 30-more minutes of simulated instrument
- Long cross-country
- I have 7-hours of solo time, so the long c/c should meet the remaining requirements.
- Prep for oral and practical
- Have taken ground school, but need to brush up and go take written
