My wife needs to put out a monthly news letter for her club. Her old program (PrintShop plus) was written for windows 95 and worked fine in compatibility mode for a few new windows versions, but it doesn't work well in windows 10. She has been trying to use MS Word, but it is too unwieldy for a lot of stuff she wants to do, or just can't do what she wants.

Any suggestions for a decent news letter program for Windows 10 where she can import her photographs and manipulate them in the software (rotate, move, shrink, expand etc)?

Google has a bunch of great apps that are free and easy to use on many different platforms (desktop, iPad, iphone, etc) and you can easily import from any program. Have you tried any of the google apps?

Thanks but, . . .

I'd rather sell my soul to the devil.

You might try Art Explosion Publisher Pro from novadevelopment.com. It's a nice, full-featured desktop publishing program. 2 versions available from $40-80. Downloadable or buy cd-version at Office Depot. I think it will do all that you want, and more. I find it very easy to use. Comes with many ready-to-go templates, or you can create from a blank page. Many special effects tools. More-than-adequate photo importing/editing functions (re-size, rotate, crop, shading, contrast, word-wrap. Much more capable and polished than the (older) Print Shop that I once used.
