Well it looks like we're going to be vacation home owners on the Outer Banks of NC...specifically in walking distance to Billy Mitchell Airport on Hatteras Island. Those of you familiar with house rentals know that typically houses are named to differentiate them from other weekly rentals. The wife and I are not big fans of the decor of this house and will do a makeover come fall. As a pilot who hopes to market the house to other pilots, we also figured an aeronautical theme would be apropos considering the rich history of aviation on the Outer Banks. While I don't think we'll have a problem coming up with a tasteful decor, we're looking for inspiration for a name.

I know there are a lot of creative folks out there, let me know what you think. I've come up with my own list of names but I'll hold them back to see what y'all come up with. First person to come up with the name that we eventually end up using will get a discount!

think about it....it has multiple connotations.....:yes:

* the obvious reference to the family name
* nautical references for a beach location
* aviation theme'd also
* Zzzz are nice to get when vacationing​
 
All of the palatial homes around Pebble Beach have names. There's one behind the 14th green that's owned by an attorney who made billions suing big tobacco. It's called "Lucky Strike."
