I think Stump Top Drivers would be better. That way you could be also known as the STDs :D:D

Yep. There's certainly a lot more of it that fits in the "annoying" category, but some of it is actually pretty good, even when analyzed with a musical ear. Sure, the vocals are mostly toneless, but there's more to music than vocals.

For example, Eminem's "Toy Soldiers." Listen to it, hate it if you want... But then go back and listen to the drum part. Very fitting.

Personally, I dislike the "I hate the world and want to die" type stuff, while I kinda like Eminem and other "political commentary rap" as well as what I call "Happy Rap" like Afroman.

I used to hate it too, but there *is* some good stuff out there. I used to hate country as well, but now that I've found some that I like, I kinda want more. In both cases, I think I hated it wholesale at first simply because it's harder to find things in those genres that I do like, so I avoided them. Now that I've found a few good things, I want more so I'm more likely to punch up a country station on Sirius or something.

I participated on a rap album. I'm not hugely proud, but the guy with the final recordings is happy. The songs can be found:

On "Player," I'm beat boxing in the final minute or so of the song.
On "Antitrust," I'm playing the guitar throughout the song
On "I Want you to Want Me" I contributed guitar

There's more, but honestly, we recorded my stuff years ago, and I barely remember doing most of it. I'll be on the album cover somewhere I'm sure. Yay. Nick does rap. lol.

Yup. Someone put that up without our permission. I'm a little bummed out about it because of the mix, and the fact that it was the first song that we have ever played out live ever. I asked him months ago to take it down, and so far, he hasn't complied.
