NA Windmill Fail NA

Thick, acrid smoke. Yikes.

There is as least one guy who flies around the country in a company-provided Mooney to service these behemoths. Those blades could be 110' or longer. They even have trim tabs on them.
 
we had some exp. windmills here over a decade ago? they were a mx nightmare and soon after one burned, throwing red hot metal bits into the miles of highly flammable grass, they were scrapped.
 
Man, is burning fiberglass a haz mat issue? Those nacelles are huge fiberglasses boxes.
 
Do they have to buy carbon credits when a green device releases that much smoke? :)
