We had a coffee thread. As of 4 hours ago, we need a tea thread.
One of my developers comes to me this morning and hands me this teapot.
He has a friend in China that makes them and he got me one.
This guy and I get along really well (Or at least I think we do)
He does a good job. I am nice to him.
But then I got to thinking "what if it is cursed and he is just trying to transition the curse to someone else?"
Whoever shall be the holder of the teapot will be cursed beyond their worst nightmares or something.
I saw that episode of the Brady Bunch and I know you can be cursed by something as simple as a wood carving.
Ugh, I can just feel the tarantula crawling on my as I type this.
What if he is trying to flat out poison me? Maybe a special potion that when mixed with tea creates a spell that kills someone and makes it look like they fell down the stairs or something.
Perhaps that little house in the picture is a macabre house of torture in China and the souls of the murdered are inside the teapot and I am about to consume them.
At first I thought it was just a teapot but now I am a little nervous that I may have dark days ahead.
I mean at least I will be drinking tea during my dark days but still.
The tea I put in the pot was given to me by an Indian gentleman that I also get along with very well.
He pulled the teabag (snicker) out of a blue metal tin that had foreign writing on it, a gold image of what appears to be Big Ben, and it smelled of freshly cut grass. He claimed the tea was produced by the guy that was with Princess Dianna when she passed in the car wreck.
The giver of the pot drinks many different types of Tea and adds Goji berries to the tea.
He has Tea that looks like dandelions some that look like weeds, and some that look like weed.
Lots of variety of teas and always things floating in it.
That said, he is 61 and looks about 45. That alone makes me want to take up his tea drinking lifestyle.
