[NA] Ready for Skiing?

On September 19 we made a trip to Sunday River Ski Area(Locke Mountain).
It was a precursor viewing for my skiing buddy who'd never been there. The place was about vacant; however, they were doing maintenance check runs of the lifts and gave us a FREE gondola ride up and back. I've never seen the ticket area look so prim and proper as this.

EDIT: On October 9 they cranked up 40 snow fans at the lower and middle levels; and on October 10 40 more at the highest elevations. It's coming!

I have a feeling this will be a good snow winter. Time to get the boards waxed....

She won't be skiing in November; flying to London on November 20, gets on the new Queen Elizabeth and will celebrate "70" either on the Q-E or in Paris; already having done an around-the-world(42 countries) cruise on the Queen Elizabeth II several years ago.
