Na.. Plumbing question

As much as I usually enjoy watching someone else self-inflict accidental pain, you are sort of like a puppy that I don't want to see get hurt.

Next time you work with acid that can splash and generate fumes, at least wear long protective gloves, splash resistant goggles or face shield, and a real respirator.

Thanks.

My wife was kind enough to point out that I bought gloves which are still sealed in the package in the Lowes bag along with a pare of protective goggles.

Sometimes I get excited.

I am aware of how damaging this stuff can be

So I had poured a half bottle of draino down and was nervous that they might mix and do bad things.
The fumes were horrible for awhile. Now it just smelels like chlorine.
"Local man pollutes the environment opening bathroom drain. Story at 11." LOL

Hey Bryan, that thing in the picture works great too if you haven't been able to poop for a few days. Loosens ya right up!

Thanks.

Lowes will take 'em back, but I sense you'll find some crazy use for them. :D

Be careful of strongly acidic drain cleaners if you have cast iron drain pipes underneath the house. Those can eat the pipes and fittings away.

What was going thru my head when I saw Brian (with an I) with acid....

Oh be careful with that stuff. Sulfuric acid ruined about 6 of my shirts in college. It takes about 4.128762 hours for holes to appear if you get small drops on your shirt while using the really good stuff

I think this whole house is made of plastic.
It's actually a really nice house. Just not properly maintained by the former owner.

It's like a rental cirrus

I hear that stuff works great on Aluminum airplanes too.. make sure you're smoking while you use it.

My experience with sulfuric acid is that the holes don't show until a run through the laundry.
