The rant thread seems to be headed this way, and I like it.....Let's see your two-wheeled conveyances, current and past.

My first, a '78 Honda GL1000
IMG_20170509_120354854.jpg
Which I sold and bought an '07 Triumph Rocket III
IMG_20170122_142755889.jpg
Which I loved so much I replaced it with an '18 Rocket, as they were ending production. I don't see this one going anywhere for a long time.
KIMG0273.JPG KIMG0282.JPG
I also bought a '90 Sportster and scramblerized it for field scouting and general screwing around.

The 78 CR is a display piece in my front room...that make, year and model is the last bike my dad raced in the 70’s before starting a family. Years later we restored this one. The RC has been a dream of mine for a long time. I finally found this nearly stock example for sale by the original owner with 8400 miles. The 18 KX450 is my regular motocross mount. I started racing in the early 90’s. Despite being a Honda guy at the time, I loved the look of the early 90’s KX’s, so I had the retro graphics and seat done by Decal Works for me.

6A1740F8-004A-4CA9-A8EB-737C4E7CD18E.jpeg I’ve collected most of the bikes I want over a long period, the good part of which is that I don’t have to spend money on more. The photo shows some of the bikes, the rest are at the hangar except for the old GS which is based in Europe.

2015 Polaris Slingshot, (classed as motorcycle with DOT), have owned since new and has a lot of mods.

I thought about one of those slingshots, but the power to weight ratio was less than the Vette, and I was like....ummmmm....why? Still think they would be a blast though.

About the only advantage I see to a Polaris over a motorcycle is that you don't fall over if you drink too much.

The safety of a motorcycle combined with the speed and agility of an automobile. No thanks.

Bike 1 was a Honda 599. Had it for a few years sold it for flight training funds. Bike 2 is a BMW F800st which I absolutely love

Stock is 173 hp at less than 1700 lbs. the GM 2.4 is easily boosted via a multitude of different available turbos and superchargers. There are even modified Slings with LS3s.

Per chance was Joe Harrelson involved in the engine build of that bike?
Duncan Keller built the engine for the streamliner Mariah. I went through the lights at 289 mph and crashed about a quarter mile later. The parachutes deployed but did not open up.
I was declared dead in Salt Lake City and that is why I took up flying.

289 mph Jesus H.
Are you by any chance related to the Vance Breese who was a designer and test pilot of the 30s and 40s? I believe credited with the first flight of the B-25 and I think P-51(among many others)

Wow. Explain that one to the AME.

Yes, that was my father. He was a busy test pilot up to 1947 when my sister was born. There were very few aircraft used by the Allies during world war II that he didn't have a hand in. A Breese Monoplane "Aloha" finished second in the Dole Air Race in 1927 and he finished eighth flying a Ryan M-1 for Ryan 1280px-Northrop_N-1M.jpg in the National air tour. He also had the first flight in Jack Northrups NM-1 flying wing.

Wow. Explain that one to the AME.
I had discourse with the Western Region Surgeon and many cognitive tests for two years in an effort to get a third class medical for a one eyed brain dead pilot. I fly with a statement of demonstrated ability (SODA) and am good for a second class medical although currently I have a third class medical. The second class medical caused another round of discourse because my vision does not meet the vision in both eyes requirement.

Pleasure to make your acquaintance, even through such a remote means. I know your dad's name because I used to fly a BT-13 and once did a lengthy presentation on the history of the aircraft.

Supposedly the BT was designed by Richard Palmer (designer of the Hughes Racer), but when researching Vance (who was a partner of Jerry Vultee) I found a twin engine plane designed by him. The shape of the vertical fin and rudder leads me to believe that your dad may have had a bigger piece of that design that mister Palmer. Just conjecture on my part.

Are you also associated with M-squared?

And just so I'm not drifting too far off topic, my Guzzi
IMG_20200112_144127-01-01.jpeg
I'm down to one motorcycle but I've also worn out a 2008 Triumph Tiger 1050, a very hopped up Bandit 1200, blah, blah all the way back to my RD400

It seemed that aviation was very small and most every body worked for their friends at one time.

I am not related to M-squared and once asked the owner about the spelling of Breese in the model name of his ultralights and did not receive much of an answer other than it was not related to my father.

Just got rid of this one..probably wont get another bike...too slow, old and fat to keep racing. Too many idiots with phones to ride on the street.

Most recently?

We rode this one 2-up through all 50 states and three Canadian provinces in a single trip...

P5060014.JPG

Had it for 16 years and had around 200k miles on it when it started crapping out on us so we replaced it with this one (yes, that is a paintball marker she is holding):

17491.jpeg

When we crashed that one and broke a piece deep within the front fairing, it had 105k miles on it and we needed a replacement faster than I could replace the broken piece so it now has a new playmate in the garage:

OK, what the hell, since we're doing a moto photo thread, pics from my Saturday ride:
