[NA] How not to take a self-timer photo

That's actually a brilliant photo! Try capturing a moment like that on purpose... :D
 
Great photos but they were taken a couple of minutes apart. Wonder if it was a set up?
They were either cropped or the camera was moved. The sun changed as did the clouds.

Perhaps this was a second (or more) go-round because their heads were chopped in the first shot?
