I think it would be cool if they take say Alabama and let them play an NFL team...Maybe the browns and see who would win. HAHAHA yeah Bama would take it im sure.... Has this ever happened?

Maybe take the college national champ and pair them with an NFL team and let them play a friendly game.

Boys playing men? It wouldn't be much of a game.

Eh....I see some rookies currently putting the whooping on some "men".

I bet EVERY collegiate Water Polo team can kick the snot out of every NFL team at Water Polo. Most NFL players can't even swim (except to keep the drinks, spliffs, and ho's above the water line)

This is the correct answer, the NFL players have access to many more drugs and years of training. It is a completely different level of human in the league.

Stopped watching the overpaid loafing Oafs in the NFL years ago.

Seems to be happening a lot with these days if the ratings mean anything.

Cheers

I still wouldn't watch. The not yet convicted felons would lose to the convicted felons.

Better yet, they could hold an all star type event.
Who can smack their hookers the most times in a minute.
Who can smoke the biggest crack rock.
Who used the dirtiest needle for their tattoo.
Who has been paroled the most
Who has the most gold teeth
Which person has the most thc in their urine

Am I missing any?

Pros wouldn't do it anymore because of the chance of getting hurt. It wouldn't be a contest, even with Bama or Clemson.

Nandrolone
Dianabol
Trenbolone Acetate
Testostone Cypionate or Enanthate
Tamoxifen Citrate
Letrozole
The list goes on.....

I was ferrying a Cherokee from Vero Beach to Seattle via Porter County Airport, Indiana, the night of the final game in 1976. It rained so hard that there was standing water on the field and they had to cancel, never to rise again.

Ah that's cool, a little before my time. Id still like to see it happen again. I really believe bama football team could whoop up on an NFL team. But yeah I can see the NFL babies afraid of getting hurt. Not worth it to them and would make them look bad if a college team beat them. haha Oh well..

Eh as good as Bama is, playing an NFL team that has the core players together for 5-10 years, it'd be difficult, very difficult. The way USC is playing now I don't know if Bama could beat them again this year.

RTR!

I gotta think that the worst NFL team would pound the best NCAA team. Those NFL guys, as big as they are, are way faster than they look. Every year a whole lot of college guys find out they can't make it in the league.

I googled for a few minutes and found the average 'bama offensive lineman is 6'4' and 319 lb. For the NFL that same position is 6'5" and 312 lb. Those numbers might be from last year.

Defensive line size is probably similar, too. The difference is generally speed. Those NFL guys are really quick - watch how a veteran will eat up a rookie on his way to the quarterback.

Look at it this way. Even a team like 'Bama, you're going to have maybe 10 NFL caliber players, at most? Compare that to an entire team of NFL caliber players.

Bama has actually reduced the big boys weight the last couple of years with the goal of being faster. Especially playing against the spread offense. It's worked. Just watch those cats on the Bama defense and their speed.

It's the same at every position, though: Kickers, punters, receivers, d-backs, q-backs. An NFL team is just a step better at every position.

It would be fun to see, though.

Just count the numbers of players on the entire top 25 teams in college football and how many make the No Fun League and are starters in their first year. Even if you took an all rookie draft team with time to practice, against a NFL team, they would get their hat and spats handed to them. Besides nobody's going to risk losing somebody you just drafted and paid a gazillion dollars to in an "extra" exhibition game, much less their existing team.

You ask any pro, what's the difference between NFL and NCAA football, it's always the speed of the game. Same thing happens going from High School to College.

Cheers

Even for the browns it wouldn't even be a contest. NFL has what the top 1% at every position vs college teams

Ever NFL team is made up of professional football players, like you said Bama may have 10 or even 15 that will end up in the NFL. The big difference is even the Browns players are older and for the most part bigger, faster and they definitely have more experience than anyone one in college. It's fun to talk about, but besides it not happening, I think even as bad as they are, the Browns would beat the brakes off of Bama.

It's a completely different game.
