Flew down to Myrtle Beach today with my mom. It was her first flight in a bug smasher. Had a great time! Nothing special, just 3.8 hours logged between Jaars (N52 - South Charlotte, NC) to Myrtle for a low approach, down the coast, fuel stop at KPHH for cheap gas ($3.99 a gallon) and then back to Jaars.

Had a couple GoPro's going in the plane.

Clear and a million today!

 
I was in Myrtle Beach today too! Got there Friday evening, then flew out around 1 this afternoon.
 
My mom was my first passenger after I got my license. It was her birthday, 72 years after she soloed.

I was leaving there just shortly before then! After my low approach we cruised about halfway down to Charleston on the coast so probably flying in MYR's airspace at the same time. Small world.

Thats super cool! My wife was my first passenger but my mom was one of the first couple.
